Balancing Sports & Studies Huddle
One of the biggest struggles of student-athletes today is striking a balance between sports and studies. Track and Field coach Steven Quek aims to share how he has helped student-athletes excel in both. Throughout his time in the National Schools track and field scene, he has helped a good number of student-athletes master this balancing act.

The education huddle invites university officials to share about student-athlete life at their respective universities.

The Parents Huddle, organised by the National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI) and the Singapore Sports Institute (SSI), aims to engage and educate current parents of youth athletes on ways they can support their child. Parents are also welcome to join our NYSI-SSI Parents Network group on Facebook.
The post-secondary huddle aims to help student-athletes explore their academic options after secondary school. This session will cover key issues such as what students need to consider, scholarship and overseas opportunities, and a sharing session with former student-athletes who have taken different routes.
The rookies' huddle was designed to prepare athletes who are going to their first major games. The Singapore National Olympic Committee will join in with their athletes to share their experience of what it is like to represent Singapore at major games.
