About this workshopSafe Sport is defined as “an athletic environment that is respectful, equitable and free from all forms of harassment and abuse.” (Olympics Consensus Committee, 2016).

In this workshop, you will learn the various types of abuses that a student-athlete can be exposed to and where to seek help. You will also learn how you can contribute to a safe sporting environment.
BenefitsYou will learn the safeguardings put in place for a safe sport environment and how you can ensure such measures are in place. You will also learn about the reporting processes should a concern needs to be addressed.
